Based in the Global Data & AI Hub in Barcelona, I work as a Finance AI & Data Engineer contributing to the development of enterprise data products and AI-driven solutions supporting Symrise’s finance and business teams. My role focuses on building scalable data assets, enabling advanced analytics and deploying AI use cases across the organization. Key contributions: • Finance Data Asset (FDA) – Design and development of the finance data platform enabling standardized financial reporting and analytics across the global company • Development of data pipelines (ETL.. ) and transformations using Databricks, DBT, and Azure following a medallion architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold) • Month-End Landing Forecasting (MEL) – AI project aimed at predicting financial landing for the month-end closing using historical financial data • Development of an internal Competitive Intelligence Chatbot leveraging LLMs and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to help teams access market and competitor insights • Collaboration with global teams (Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Finance stakeholders) to design scalable data solutions and deliver AI use cases
Artificial Intelligence Engineer: Design internal chatbots for multiple teams. Needs identification, prototyping, and presentation of solutions. ◦ AI Transformation & Strategy: Organization of AI strategic workshops with the management of various departments across the bank.
