About

From an early age, I have been fascinated by history—not as a distant subject, but as a living continuum expressed through objects, symbols, and memory. This early curiosity led me to see artifacts not merely as remnants of the past, but as carriers of narrative and identity. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology and a Ph.D. in Ancient Languages and Cultures, with a focus on early writing systems and cultural expression in antiquity. My research explores how meaning, belief, and identity are encoded through language, text, and ritual across ancient civilizations. Alongside my academic work, I taught ancient languages at the Archaeology Institute of the University of Tehran and worked at the National Museum of Iran, documenting prehistoric artifacts such as figurines and pottery. Through this experience, I developed a deep understanding of jewelry as a powerful medium of cultural expression, identity, and symbolism across time. Today, I work as a jewelry designer using advanced digital tools such as Matrix and ZBrush. My practice is centered on transforming historical heritage into contemporary design—reinterpreting symbols, motifs, and writing systems into wearable forms. My work focuses on reviving ancient writing systems as a contemporary design language. By integrating diverse historical scripts and visual traditions into jewelry, I aim to reposition them not as static remnants of the past, but as living, evolving forms of visual communication across cultures. I see each piece as a modern artifact—where archaeology meets design, and scholarship meets craftsmanship. My goal is to create jewelry that goes beyond adornment, becoming a medium for storytelling, memory, and cultural continuity.
