I am a driven and ambitious Opto-Mechanical Engineer in the early stages of my career in the space industry. I have a proven track record of excellence through a variety of scholarship awards and I am aiming to achieve a 1st Class Honours Engineering Degree at Coventry University. I am looking to expand my global network of contacts within the Engineering sector.
I am a member of the Opto-Mechanical Design team, working on the design and production of satellite imager components, whilst studying for my BEng in Mechanical Design Engineering at Coventry University.
3 Year Intermediate Apprenticeship programme. I have spent 3 months in the Optical Payloads team, 3 months in the Mechanical Engineering team, 3 months in the Flight Assembly team and 3 months in the power team. I then worked within the Image Processing and Applications team for 1 year. I am now permanently based within the Opto-Mechanical Engineering team.
2 days within the Traffic Software group working on neural networks for the MOVA machine learning program.
2 days working with the Traffic Software group and the CAD design team within the Risk Assessment group.
Half-day at Kier Group for an escorted visit around the Broadmoor Hospital new build.
