• Studied the behavior of spills on different surfaces • Investigated the effects of incline angle, liquid properties and spill volume on the spread and movement of blood • Ran trials with simulated blood on non-porous surfaces and analyzed using an app called 'Drawing Grid' • Gathered information to provide recommendation(s) for spill response procedures for first responders • The target of this project is to, ultimately, create an application for first responders that most accurately measures blood volume
Worked with students of various ages at different learning levels and abilities. Explained in detail a multitude of mathematical concepts, including those in algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, and high school calculus, in easy-to-understand terms.
