In my role as Chief of Staff and trusted advisor to two MedTech Chief Executives of a $30B+ business (Ashley McEvoy: 2021-2023, Tim Schmid: 2023-2024), I managed the Office of the WW Chair, orchestrated key engagements with stakeholders, and facilitated top-level decision-making. I ensured seamless collaboration among the Management Board and partnered with them to deliver the organization's agenda. I oversaw high-priority projects and sponsored over 30 strategic initiatives, resulting in $75 million in savings and generating $140 million in cash.
As the Global Quality System owner for GMP training, I led a team of ~190, serving 64,000 customers and managing 135,000 service requests annually. As a strategic leader, I was responsible for the supply chain strategy across the North America Consumer business. I spearheaded the expansion of Value Stream Management principles and strategies, developing robust product strategy roadmaps aligned with the value chain. I co-created and deployed the Integrated Gross Profit (iGP) initiative, identifying over $150MM in cost improvement opportunities and led the end-to-end supply chain for the skin health franchise, designing and implementing an organizational framework to build capabilities and drive operational excellence.
I led the deployment of Value Stream Management principles and rebuilt a Process Excellence culture for the North America OTC business region. I led the redesign of all Consent Decree (CD) operations processes (confirmation, verification, escalation, FDA reporting, and workplan certification). I introduced innovative methods and digital tools to accelerate results and monitor performance. The process changes, driven by a new mission of continuous improvement, yielded significant results: a 62-point increase in Confirmations Right-First-Time (RFT), a 25-point rise in Verifications RFT, 100% on-time FDA report submissions, resolution of 100% of escalations within 3 days, and an 85% reduction in open GMP Observations. Additionally, I co-led the design of a CD certification methodology, making McNeil the first company to exit a Consent Decree workplan on time without fines or regulatory action.
As a pivotal member of the management board, I held end-to-end responsibility for Supply Chain, Program Management Office, and ITAR compliance. I led the redesign of project delivery processes, reshaped our supply chain network, and instilled a mindset focused on reliability, agility, and process accountability. I led all aspects of materials management for the site including raw materials, finished goods, mro and maintenance services overseeing 3 warehouses (70,000 sqft; 20,000 sqft and 18,000 sqft) and Weigh & Dispense area. I led the organizational transformation building a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement introducing processes and digital tools to oversee the operation. Delivering: 100% on time shipment and no stock out situations; 85% weekly schedule attainment despite reduction of 2 FTE and 30% increased volume. I managed ~$55M of inventory with >99% inventory accuracy Delivered the implementation of TSA Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF) program requirement leading to site certification.
I led the transformation of the work planning and control team, revitalized the team mission and stepped-up performance with top-tier results. I had oversight of planning & scheduling function and management of all aspects of MRO materials and maintenance services. I co-led the development of a maintenance program and lead the deployment of the materials management module of a maintenance system (SAP-PM) delivering $3.2 million in cost savings over two years, a 30% reduction in spare parts inventory, and a 13% decrease in spending on maintenance services.
