AI for Radio Access Network (RAN)
With Radio Access Network (RAN) Technology Department at AT&T Labs (a.k.a. Network CTO Organization). Worked on O-RAN solution integration, AI/ML-based RAN automation, data-driven system-level RAN simulation, and emerging networking services (including intent-based network slicing, drone communications, and private cellular networks). Mentored five Ph.D. student interns from top US universities.
A proud member of AT&T Labs Research, the research organization of AT&T, which was part of Bell Laboratories prior to 1996 and AT&T Laboratories afterward.
Mitacs Accelerate Industrial Postdoc, with Ericsson Global Artificial Intelligence Accelerator (GAIA) as the industrial partner. Worked on distributed machine learning at the network edge with Dr. Emmanuel T. Fapi at GAIA Montreal and Dr. Wenting Sun at GAIA Santa Clara.
Mitacs Accelerate Industrial Postdoc, with Dalhousie University as the academic partner. Worked with Prof. Qiang Ye in the Faculty of Computer Science at Dalhousie University as my academic advisor.
Conducted postdoctoral research under the supervision of Prof. Danny H.K. Tsang in the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering.
