I recently completed a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics at the University of Auckland, where I developed strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills through modelling, data analysis, and quantitative coursework. During my studies, I worked with tools such as R, SQL, Excel, and MATLAB to analyse datasets, build statistical models, and communicate findings clearly. I particularly enjoy understanding why patterns occur within data and using analytical thinking to support practical decision-making. Alongside university, I worked in fast-paced retail environments, which strengthened my communication, teamwork, adaptability, and ability to work effectively under pressure. I’m currently interested in graduate opportunities across data analytics, market analysis, reporting, and quantitative research where I can continue developing my technical skills while contributing to meaningful, data-driven work.
