Supervise the middle back office including both Accounting and Operations Departments, Oversee daily funding and overall operations for US Branches, Monitor expense payment, Review various financial reports and regulatory reports, Make recommendations on operating system enhancement, Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures from both US and Hong Kong, Closely work with BSA department in monitoring AML and any suspicious activities, Responsible for both internal audits and external audits from OCC and Fed in areas of Interest Rate Risk and Liquidity Risk Management, Funding Management, Balance Sheet Management, CED Management, OCC quarterly review, Fed Borrower-In-Custody Program, Assist US Head on operational control, budgeting, and overall risk management.
Supervise the accounting department, maintain the General Ledger, perform account analysis and reconciliation, manage daily funding for US Branches, perform day-end and month-end closing and reconciliation, prepare and submit various financial reports to Federal Reserve Bank SF, OCC, and Hong Kong Head Office, closing work with HO IT team for banking system enhancement, ensure compliance with all establish policies and procedures, coordinate with auditor for financial audit.
Perform and maintain General Ledger, account reconciliation, prepare various financial and regulatory report such as FR2900, process daily Fed Funds Purchase and Repayment via Fedline, Swift Operations, perform a full cycle account payable process, assist in month-end closing, assist in gathering information for financial audit.
