I am a teaching-focused higher education professional and marine/environmental scientist with a PhD, currently serving as a Resident Lecturer with the School for Field Studies (SFS). My work centers on undergraduate instruction, experiential learning, and academic program leadership in immersive field-based settings. At SFS, I design and deliver upper-division undergraduate courses, mentor student research, and contribute to curriculum development and academic assessment across an international network of field centers. I am particularly committed to experiential and community-engaged education that connects ecological science, governance, and real-world conservation practice. Beyond teaching, I actively support institutional priorities through program coordination, curriculum review, and faculty collaboration, and I value roles that integrate instruction with academic leadership and long-term program development.
