With over 12 years of equity-focused research and evaluation experience, I have worked with diverse populations with the goal of promoting health and racial equity. Currently, I am a Senior Research Assistant at Portland State University working on various research projects and impact evaluations. I am skilled in qualitative and quantitative research methods, interviewing, community engagement, data collection, data analysis, and much more.

Contributed to the evaluation of the 3toPhD Research and Evaluation initiative, a program aimed at narrowing the opportunity gap by providing trauma-informed services that foster healthier, more resilient communities. Collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to assess program impact on child and family well-being. Helped to develop and refine components of a survey tool used to gather quantitative and qualitative data on program outcomes. Conducted semi-structured interviews with both adult and child participants, building rapport to gather critical insights about their experiences with 3toPhD’s services. Supported the development of community partnerships by participating in outreach initiatives, fostering collaborative relationships with local organizations, schools, and families.
Developed and taught the undergraduate seminar PSY 251: Social Class Inequalities, creating an engaging and comprehensive curriculum that explored the psychological and societal impacts of social class disparities. Designed lectures and facilitated discussions to promote critical thinking and understanding of inequality.
Developed and managed the participant database for the Club Impact program, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of individuals involved. Conducted interviews with individuals with disabilities to assess program outcomes, contributing to the evaluation of the program’s impact. Oversaw data management, including data collection and data entry, ensuring high-quality data for analysis. Researched potential funding opportunities and authored grant proposals to secure resources for the Club Impact program’s growth and sustainability. Organized and coordinated weekly events, tracking participant attendance and engagement.
Assisted with data collection for National Spina Bifida Patient Registry, sponsored by the CDC. Helped with survey administration for adult and children participants. Assisted with data entry into registry software.
Northwest Addiction Technology Transfer Center Network • Helped prepare training events and multi day conferences on evidence-based addictions treatment and recovery practices for providers and practitioners. • Kept track of and managed communications with attendees. • Collected completed feedback surveys and transcribed them to a database. • Managed written communications with providers and practitioners after the events.
Resilient Youth Survivor Empowerment (RYSE) Program • Assisted with the development of a crisis response and long term supportive case management program for sexual assault survivors. • Consulted and collaborated with local nonprofit organizations on the project development. • Developed surveys and focus groups questions. • Conducted interviews, facilitated focus groups, and collected data for process evaluation.
