Seasoned Leader both in the profit and non-profit sectors with 20+ years of experience. Built and expanded an NGO from 2 to 500+ members with a yearly budget of 6 million dollars. A PhD in Sociology that passionatly mentors and participates in various lectures and contributes to national research on sexual education, mental health, and social support, gender-based violence and gender equality, among others. A proud mother of 3, juggling various activities and aspiring to add decent humans to this wonderful world.
NGO Girls (ГО “ДІвчата”) is a non-profit organization that supports women and children in Ukraine. It strives to encourage and advance the rights and lives of girls and women on all fronts. NGO Girls implements comprehensive and overreaching projects aimed at supporting and capacitating girls and women in Ukraine. We provide expertise in sexual education and prevention of gender-based violence, as well as bringing and making female leadership in Ukraine more visible. Additionally, NGO Girls engages women in economic empowerment aspects, including the promotion and strengthening of women's entrepreneurship. Throughout the war, NGO Girls has provided a wide range of psychological, legal, and humanitarian in-kind support. Moreover, we have created child-friendly spaces and rehabilitation centers, especially for those affected by the war. In addition, NGO Girls has been continuously working to provide hands-on other types of support to survivors of sexual violence. NGO Gilrs is also helping out with advocacy efforts, academic research and other contributions, as well as localization of humanitarian response.
The Crisis Leadership Program (CLP) offers hands-on short courses with flexible delivery models to meet the needs of first responders working in crisis response and recovery. Participants will gain insights to better understand and navigate the disaster response system, as well as build their own leadership skills.
