Promoted to Senior Engineer/Project Technical Lead, I began undertaking overall technical coordination for key projects. Core responsibilities included: optimizing the main navigation and shipping business system architecture (gradually upgrading from a monolithic architecture to a microservice architecture); participating in the construction of the group's data platform, unifying data standards; establishing a code review and technical specification system; coordinating data interoperability between the port information system and the headquarters system; and in the group's "Digital Shipping" project, I led the team to complete the core module reconstruction, improving system response by 40% and ensuring the speed smooth launch of multiple overseas node systems
After graduating with a master's degree, I returned to COSCO Shipping Group. I joined COSCO North America's IT department in 2016 and continued to work as a project manager, mainly involved in the construction and optimization of shipping business systems. In the context of the group's digital transformation, I was gradually promoted from a front-line developer to a technical leader, and at the same time assumed team management responsibilities
After my promotion, my work focus shifted from "writing code" to: Technical architecture planning, team collaboration management, data governance support, and system security and stability construction. In his early years in the company, he was mainly involved in the maintenance and function development of the shipping management system: optimizing the ship scheduling module; developing the logistics information tracking system interface; optimizing the database performance and supporting the reporting system. Working at the grassroots level, I deeply understand the complexity of the IT systems of large groups: the system not only serves the headquarters, but also involves overseas nodes and port units; any error in the smallest detail may affect business operations.
