About

I am a creative leader — pianist, writer, producer, and curator — dedicated to reimagining classical music for a changing world. My work is rooted in dismantling boundaries and building bridges through sound, story, and human connection. At the heart of everything I do is storytelling through sound. Whether producing behind the mic, curating on stage, performing live, or writing, I build from the ground up — connecting people, ideas, and disciplines to show that music is not only an art form but a catalyst for imagination, dialogue, and change. In 2020, I launched The Piano Pod, a digital platform that brings candid, forward-thinking conversations to the world of classical music. Through over 100 in-depth interviews with renowned artists, educators, composers, and innovators, the show has reached more than 400,000 downloads, nearly 3,000 YouTube subscribers, and earned a nomination from the Quill Podcast Awards. Featured by Yahoo Finance, AP News, MarketWatch, Business Insider, and Benzinga, the podcast has become a recognized voice bridging tradition and innovation. In October 2025, The Piano Pod Live in Concert — in collaboration with Mannes Prep at The New School — debuted as a successful live event celebrating performance, dialogue, and community. In 2007, I founded Yukimi Song Studio LLC, a creative community in the heart of New York City — from the West Village to Chelsea and SoHo — dedicated to shaping artistry, curiosity, and collaboration. What began as a single studio has grown into an award-winning hub recognized for its innovation and impact, earning the Best of Brooklyn Award three years in a row and induction into the Brooklyn Business Hall of Fame in 2024. Now, as I expand into large-scale creative production, my mission remains the same: to build from the ground up — crafting worlds where art, truth, and human connection can thrive. Because in the end, I do not just make music — I build spaces where stories find their sound.
