Hi! I’m an incoming CS PhD student at UCLA, advised by Prof Yuzhe Yang. Previously, I obtained my BS degree from the University of Washington, where I double majored in Computer Science (with honors) and Applied Mathematics. I am fortunated to be co-advised by Professor Sheng Wang and Professor Linda G Shapiro, and pleased mentored by Zixuan Liu in UW CSE. My research interests are broadly in AI4Science, including the fields of machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing. I am especially passionate about vision-language pretraining, multimodal learning, foundation models, and their applications in biomedicine and clinical medicine.
Advise by Prof. Sheng Wang, Mentor by Ph.D. Zixuan Liu. Applying Large Vision-Language model (LVLM), Foundation model on ophthalmology in eye diseases, including glaucoma cases and macular hole staging.
Working in SampL lab (https://sampl.cs.washington.edu/) researching on on LLM serving acceleration projects includes Efficiency LLM, pruning LLM to ensure for lower partial complexity and higher speed mentor by Chien-Yu Lin (https://homes.cs.washington.edu/~cyulin/).
