I'm a well-organized engineer currently working for a global Top Fortune 500 company in the Oil & Gas, Energy, and power generation equipment industry. I'm involved in the every design process from basic conceptual design to detailed design. And I'm currently the only noise engineer in our company. We are intertwined with working with many Oil & Gas companies, including refinery and EPC(engineering, procurement and construction) companies, such as Aramco, ADNOC, Qatargas, LG Chem, Lotte Chem, Technip, TR, ANOPC, Linde, Air Liquid, SIAD, CTCI, Hyundai, Samsung, etc. It is necessary for us to be familiar with international codes and standards including ASME, API 614&672&617, ISO 2151&3744, KGS and OSHA, and technical specifications of every construction company. My main responsibility is Environmental Noise Advisor and I have engineering based knowledge, but with a serious interest in becoming more business focussed. # About technical term 1) Aeroacoustic noise engineer - Noise analysis and prediction using aerodynamic data in compliance with environmental regulations : identifying the origin of the noise, proposal of noise reduction methods(noise mitigation design, sound enclosure, insulation, and silencer) - Technical consulting to customers: environmental legal advice using International codes(ISO 2151&3744, KGS, OSHA), Environmental Impact Assessment, VOC response, technical report, presentation - Technical advice on noise in new business : attendance at customer and executive meetings, preparing technical proposals and business plan reports 2) Process engineer - Conceptual design : centrifugal compressor performance design & analysis - Risk management - Developing a new business model 3) Lubricating system mechanical engineer - Detailed design : Auxiliary parts(pumps, filter), instrument(control valves, PRV, PSV), electrical parts(LV motors, heater) - Optimization engineering(reducing a budget) - Estimating budget(working with Sales and Quote Proposal Department) - Project management : Subcontract management / Delivery scheduling / RFQ - Trouble shooting : TQ, HAZOP using P&ID
