I am a dedicated and passionate biochemist with a strong foundation in research and development, currently thriving as a Technology Development as Associate Researcher at Procter & Gamble in Brussels. My academic journey culminated in a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Odisee, where I honed my skills in chromatographic techniques, microscopy, and analytical biochemistry. With diverse experience in laboratory settings, I have contributed to various projects, including a significant international internship at The Ohio State University. There, I focused on the study of hydrogen production in the green alga Chlamydomonas reinhardtii, employing techniques such as microbiological growth assessment, spectrophotometric measurements, and gas chromatography. My professional background as a student includes roles as an R&D Lab Technician, Laboratory Analyst in a brewery, and a Kitchen Helper at a restaurant, where I developed strong teamwork and communication skills. In addition to my technical skills, I have pursued further education in artificial intelligence and machine learning, completing certifications that enhance my ability to innovate in today's data-driven environment. Outside of my professional life, I am committed to giving back to the community through my volunteer work with Buena Bista! Social Club VZW, where I support initiatives for individuals affected by cancer and help underprivileged youth participate in cultural events. Let’s connect! I am always open to networking, collaboration, and exploring new opportunities in the fields of biochemistry and technology development.
Associate researcher focused on developing perfume delivery technologies, specifically for fabric care products.
