I have a B.S. in mechanical engineering. In my position as Project Manager for ZygoFix I utilized my natural tendency towards and love of detail oriented organization and planning. I have a passion for problem solving and am a hard worker, who believes in doing what it takes to get the job done efficiently and effectively. While I am capable of producing great work individually, I revel in working with a team of diverse individuals, where different perspectives and ideas can come together to produce something amazing.

Worked extensively with ISO Standards for ventilation, air conditioning, heating and cooling in different environments including clean rooms, tenant buildings, government buildings, ect. Coordinated with plumbing, electrical, and fire protection teams within the firm and architects from outside the firm. Analyzed data in Excel for failing systems and wrote root-cause analysis technical reports.

    Prototyped molded silicone patches, designed to reduce the occurrence of pressure ulcers. Designed and conducted experiments to determine calibration of patches and analyzed the data using Excel. Designed and prototyped charging stations for pressure ulcer patches. Built pre-production prototypes of a novel device to extract stem-cell rich cord blood from umbilical cords after birth. Supported design and prototyping of other projects managed by team members. Utilized Solidworks to support DFM and DFT. Designed and implemented experiments and testing for POC (proof of concept). Wrote engineering procedures and technical instructions for all testing and prototyping. Worked extensively with the following tools: metalworking saws, mills, grinders, drill presses, laser cutter, thermoplastic vacuum forming, Form 2 SLA printer, woodworking tools, soldering. Implemented improvements in the machine shop itself.
