My career has been built where people strategy meets business complexity — across global manufacturing, specialty pharma, financial services, and technical services organizations where HR is expected to contribute at the executive level, not just support it. That breadth has shaped a particular way of working: close to the business, grounded in operational reality, and focused on what moves organizations forward. My work spans the full strategic HR mandate. I've served as lead negotiator for management across multiple rounds of collective bargaining, and managed labor relations in complex, high-stakes environments. I've led organizational redesigns, workforce transitions, and post-acquisition integrations during periods of growth and change — including building HR functions from the ground up where none existed. I've also served as a designated workplace investigator, handling sensitive employee relations and ethics matters with care and discretion. What I find most interesting is that overlap — where HR rigor meets business judgment, and where the right people decision at the right moment changes the direction of a team or an organization. I bring a quantitative foundation (a degree in Statistics) and formal quality management training (a Diploma in Quality Control & ISO) to that work, which shapes how I think about data, process, and continuous improvement in HR. On the coaching side, I'm a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP), and I hold the Insights Discovery® Client Practitioner accreditation. In practice, this means I work with leaders on the mindset and interpersonal dynamics that sit underneath performance — not just the behaviors visible on the surface. I hold a Master's degree in Human Resources Management and the Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR®) designation, reflecting competency across international HR frameworks and cross-border workforce strategy. Earlier in my career I held senior HR roles at Barclays Bank PLC and in the ICT sector in Mauritius, informing how I think about workforce strategy in multinational, culturally complex environments. I'm bilingual in English and French, and volunteer as a mentor supporting internationally trained professionals building their careers in Canada. What draws me to an organization is simple: a leadership culture that expects HR to think like a business partner first — where the business and people agendas are inseparable, and where strong business judgment is as valued as people expertise.
