My role entails a dual responsibility of sourcing & selling Agri Products including Pulses, Grains, Oilseeds & meals. Also leading logistics and execution. Key Roles & Responsibility Areas: TRADING • Dissemination of information of Pulses, Grains, Oilseeds, Oil Meals from International Sources • Origination & sell of various Pulses, Grains & Oil seeds from various origins to India, as well as cross border trading • Establish new as well as manage relation with current Supplier, Client, Trader of Indian & offshore partners • Generating leads & managing the entire trading flow • Market Intelligence on Trade Activities LOGISTICS AND EXECUTION • Responsible for all Logistics related to import into India & Third country export • Coordination with the team & take care of contract execution / physical movement of Cargo in timeline • Keeping a close end to end watch on each trade execution • Coordination with CHA & Plants BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT • Development of Import of Oilseeds into India & Third country trading • Initiative to do the business in a new commodity and also push to market products in newer destinations • Visit International delegations & fairs to establish relations with buyer/seller & promote company • Identifying & continually attempting to penetrate new markets & alternatives with everyday interaction
• Looks after trading of Feedstuffs, Grains, Pulses & other commodities • Responsible for timely & smoothly execution of all contracts • Visits ports at critical times to ensure loading of good quality cargo • Supply chain management • Maintain Statistical information & report about vessel, stocks at port & destination wise export from India • Development of new commodities, like Copra, PKE, Wheat & Guar Meal Churi • Manage and Maintain Supplier / Client / Trader and relationship with other overseas offices • Responsible for all Logistics related to Indian exports. • Working with the team for contract execution / physical movement of Cargo in timeline.
