About

Hi! My name is Julia and I have a passion for helping others. I am on the market for a remote position that enriches the lives of others. I have a variety of experiences and have worked in education, customer service, healthcare, and science. 📚 Education: I helped develop STEM learning programs and initiatives for grades K-12 in Merced County. My mission was to minimize the STEM education disparity within Central California, with Merced County as the starting point. I consulted local teachers on how to implement fun science projects to fulfill learning objectives and served as a first generation college student role model. 😊 Customer Service: I helped customers, clients and staff reach their goals by providing top-notch service. Paired with my 2+ years management experience, I supported staff by recruiting, interviewing and implementing wonderful onboarding experience for new hires. 👓 Healthcare: I helped coordinate patient schedules, take patient history and conduct pretesting to aid the doctors in providing optimal care for patients. I had the opportunity to be a student in Western University of Health Sciences School of Optometry 2025 cohort, where I further developed my passions in servant leadership. 🔬 Science: As an undergraduate, I helped my research lab publish two publications. I had the opportunity to be a Project Manager for a patent-pending medical device that showcased with high achievements at medical conventions, win 1st place in a design clinic, and pitched to the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. During my time as a CRA, I solely managed a clinical project for a developing rapid COVID-19 test and outreached for cross-functional collaboration with client companies. 🥳 Volunteering: From volunteering at animal shelters to providing medical resources/care in rural villages in Vietnam, I actively follow the philosophy of servant leadership. With over 600 hours in volunteer experience, I hope to continue my passion in helping others.
