I am a PhD student at the University of Cambridge in Computational Structural Mechanics Lab (CSMLab), working at the intersection of computational mechanics and quantum computing. My research focuses on developing quantum algorithms for solving partial differential equations — aiming to accelerate simulation and modelling capabilities for engineering and scientific applications. I’m passionate about translating complex mathematical and computational ideas into tools that create real-world impact across sectors such as materials science, energy, and advanced manufacturing. Qreative, Qurious, and Qautious.
- Participated in an experimental study of an assembled monolithic underground station; - Involved in the low cyclic loading tests of composite connections between concrete-filled steel tube columns and shear walls; - Conducted finite element analysis of the mechanical characteristics of critical components, connection joints as well as the overall structure, and optimised the design.
- Participated in a logistics base engineering project at Taizhou South Railway Station - Assisted in the initial design of the logistics base facilities such as station warehouses, canopies and ancillary production buildings; - Engaged in structural analysis, numerical simulation by ABAQUS and ANSYS, CAD drafting, PKPM structural design, and BIM software modelling.
- Assisted in CAD drafting; - Delved into structural analysis methods and implemented finite element analysis & BIM modelling.
