A Game Designer who loves games and is willing to join this interesting industry.
During my internship at CelleC Games at Full Sail University, I have participated in the development of two games. The first one was a card game named Dragons Uprising which was published on the app store. I co-scripted an AI system with an auto-attack feature for the card game. The other game was a visual novel game named Dog Days of Fall which is going to be released on the app store soon. We used Fungus to build the structure of the game. As a game designer, I helped the writer to put the dialogue in the correct position and designed the transitions between the scenes. I also co-scripted a save system with my teammate using C# in Unity for the game. Besides my studio work, I have worked with my friends on making a 3D casual farming game for joining a mini-game competition held by NetEase. I helped the team establish the milestones and track the status of the game. I also designed the economic system and planting system with other designers. The game entered the semi-final of the competition. Currently, we are heading to release the game on the mobile platform.
Worked as a system designer intern in Identity V production team. Designed a new hunter character. Helped with the development of the Customs Hall. Helped with designing anniversary events.
Had worked as a level designer in one of Full Sail's Indie studio. Made a single-player level on Unity for a 3D tank game. Tested the game and reported to other designers.
During school time, I had learned the knowledge of creating a game in Unity 3d, the skills of level design and system design. I had teamed up with my classmates and created 4 games for the purpose of practicing skills and learning new things. As a game designer, my roles could be different such as designing levels and making a system for a game. Besides making levels in Unity, I also actively joined the discussions with my teammates about our games' mechanics and settled conflicts between team members. My school works are shown on my portfolio website: https://yiligame.wixsite.com/website Thank you.
