As a Mechanical Engineering student at ITU, minor in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, I am a very passionate and curious person interested in how all branches of engineering interact with each other and I am always ready to deal with new tasks. I love how it is possible to apply oneself and then use modern tools such as machine learning and all sorts of AI to come up with a unique approach to solving the issue. That is why in my opinion the future of engineering is built on the combination of the time tested procedures and the newest technologies. Apart from writing, I have passion for teaching as well. I have had the opportunity to tutor students of different classes and assist them deal with tough subjects. This has been a fulfilling way to be engaged in the field and helping other at the same time. As a volunteer I also participate in several organizations in my spare time; this enables me volunteer as well as gain more experience in leadership and teamwork. As a participant in this specialized mentorship program, I am working closely with GE Aerospace engineers to navigate the early stages of my career. This six-month journey is dedicated to professional development, where I am actively building my network, enhancing my engineering skills, and gaining a deeper understanding of the aerospace sector through one-on-one guidance and real-world industry exposure.
While studying Mechanical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, I’ve been working as a private tutor, helping students of various age groups with Turkish, mathematics, and science. I focus on making learning both effective and enjoyable by simplifying complex topics and adapting my teaching approach to each student’s individual needs. As a student myself, I understand how valuable it is to be in an environment that not only supports academic growth but also inspires and motivates - and that’s exactly what I strive to offer my students.
