Hi, I'm Pan Yijie, a Business and Financial Technology student at Nanyang Polytechnic. During my part-time role as a packer at DSV Solutions, I was responsible for picking, packing, and labelling products to ensure they were ready for timely shipment. I worked in a fast-paced warehouse environment where attention to detail and efficiency were crucial. My duties included verifying item quantities, checking product codes and ensuring all packages met quality and safety standards. I also maintained a clean and organised workspace to support smooth warehouse operations and collaborated closely with team members to meet daily packing targets.
As a Packer and Promoter for The Coca-Cola Company during the Hari Raya Puasa festive season, my primary responsibility was to restock Coca-Cola products in supermarkets and actively promote them to customers. I engaged shoppers by explaining ongoing promotions and encouraging purchases. Customers who spent at least $12 on Coke products were invited to spin a prize wheel and redeem gifts such as Coke caps, thermal flasks, and food vouchers. This role strengthened my communication skills and taught me how to create engaging customer experiences in a fast-paced retail environment.
