Participated in the project of planning a microgrid on Rambla St. with BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) and a linear generator working on renewable energy and solar panels to harden the 100 homes on Rambla St. from PSPS (Public Safety Power Shutdown). Working with Firewise USA@Rambla Pacifico, EPRI, SoCal Edison, Clean Coalition, IEEE PES, etc.
Designed process integration and masks for a 14nm FinFET inverter using Coventor SEMulator 3D and K-Layout. Carried out electrical analysis and achieved Vt ~ 0.25 V and Idsat ~ 1.5 mA/micron @ 0.65 V. Under Prof. Subramanian S. Iyer's supervision.
Worked in a 3-inch wafer tape-out line, fabricated NPN BJT with a critical dimension of 6um on the wafer. Worked with oxidation/diffusion furnace, contact lithography machine, wet process station, spin coater, e-beam evaporator, probe test station, etc. Achieved BJT gain of 18, BVceo of 108V.
Entering the Enpusen Medical Technology Park's production workshops, where I observed up close the entire process of each product—from design and processing to quality inspection.
Hands-on experience with CNC engraving and milling machines, fitter, welding, etc. Built a brass hammer for myself.
