Reporting to Sr. HR Director for EMEA, leading the HR Function for 3 countries, based out of Istanbul. Leading 1 direct report and responsible for ~150 employees. Key responsibilities: • Member of the Country Leadership Teams in Turkey & Israel. Partnering with LT members on their leadership development journey as well as team-specific topics. Supporting the country leader transition in Turkey from a local leader to an expat leader. • Sponsoring the employee engagement committee and driving the HR team to elevate the employee experience. Achieved 54% increase in overall employee engagement rate in 2 years. • Ensuring competitive and cost-conscious financial well-being for Turkey based employees in close partnership with Regional Compensation & Benefits Teams. Reduced the voluntary turnover (based on financial reasons) from double digits to low single digits. • Implementing organizational transformation initiatives across the region including large scale re-organization, functional centralization, on-site office closures and legal entity simplifications. • Designed and executed a Development Calendar for Turkey in 2023-2024, including Mentoring program, Development Centers, Learning Day as well as on-site and remote trainings. • Landing the change management process for Workday implementation as well as a brand-new Job & Pay Architecture in 2023. • Accelerating the total well-being strategy through activations in Sports, Physical and Mental well-being initiatives. • Aligning HR initiatives with the overall business strategy at regional and country levels. • Championing a culture of DE&I by designing & implementing local DE&I Action plans
Reported to HR Director for Eastern Mediterranean Area, I was responsible for providing HR Business Partnership to the management organization in 8 countries: Turkey, Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, Ukraine, Georgia, Romania and Bulgaria. Responsible for ~35 Leaders and ~280 employees. Key responsibilities: • Coached functional managers and team leaders by translating the business goals into people objectives to create an engaged, high-performing workforce. • Member of the Leadership Team for two Business Units in 2 different brands across 8 countries. Also a member of the Customer Service Area Leadership Team. • Provided full scope of HR Business Partnering, including but not limited to: Organizational Design, Leadership Development, Talent Review and Succession Planning, Rewards Management, Change Management. • Coached and advised all the people leaders under the respective accounts in order to accelerate their leadership development. Designed and implemented three area-wide leadership development initiatives which were then leveraged as best practice across Europe. • Inspired the leaders towards the engagement agenda, achieved 21% engagement increase over 2 years; with a strong focus on action completion; which increased by 27%. • Facilitated the talent management annual cycle across functions and countries. Facilitating bi-annual talent reviews and succession planning sessions. • Took a key position in a massive-scale global reorganization in late-2020; guided the leaders throughout the organization design, synergy, employee staffing and communications. • Partnered leadership teams on two separate transformation initiatives in Israel & Romania in 2019. • Awarded with a special recognition across Europe (which was given to a very limited population in Europe HR) both in 2019 and in 2020. • Selected as one of three HR facilitators across Europe for a Leadership Development training program to be delivered in Denmark in 2019 / 2020.
Reported to HR Director for India, Middle East, Africa & Turkey based in Dubai, UAE. Relocated to UAE on an assignment between 2015 – 2016 and returned to Turkey in 2016 as the Country HR Leader. Held additional responsibilities as: - Labor Relations Coordinator for MENAT - Talent Management Coordinator for MENAT. - HR Technology Focal Point for EMEAI • Represented the Turkey HR in the Turkey Country Leadership Team for all country-wide strategic decisions or changes. • Acted as HRBP to various departments over 5 years; both in Commercial and in Operations / Manufacturing. • Managed the Turkey People processes of a global acquisition (Dow Corning) in 2016. Led all people initiatives such as cultural integration, synergy activites, office move and C&B harmonization activities for Turkey. • Coordinated the local implementation of a major-scale centralization initiative and successfully relocated 100% of the Customer Service organization to Netherlands. • Led end-to-end recruitment activities in Turkey, from approval into onboarding process. Completed recruitment activities for more than 120 positions since 2013, by conducting more than 1K interviews. • Country focal point for all C&B activities; including review of market surveys, evaluation of promotion requests as well as benefits review; to ensure a competitive Total Rewards package is offered to the employees. • Implemented central Talent Management CoE initiatives within the country by organizing People Review sessions, succession planning meeting and employee development initiatives. • Driving the employee engagement survey process by encouraging participation, organizing focus groups for results reviews and gaining leadership commitment to materialize annual action items. • Coordinated a Collective Labor Agreement process in Turkey with multiple local and regional stakeholders. Managed to finalize the CLA with eventual costs under the set targets.
