    I worked as the National Short-Term Expert of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Turkey for implementation of the EU-funded Technical Assistance Project "Strengthening the Civilian Oversight of Internal Security Forces - Phase III". The Project aims to ensure the institutionalisation of civilian and democratic oversight of internal security forces and to enable the transition to civilian and democratic oversight of internal security forces based on good governance principles and a human-centered understanding of security and public safety in line with EU and UN standards. Department of Smuggling, Intelligence, Operation and Data Collection (KIHBI), the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy and National Police, under the Turkish Ministry of Interior are the main customers of the Project, whilst the Turkish Parliament and National District Governorates are sub-beneficiaries. Tasks & Features: - Management of relations and communication between the UNDP Project Team, International Short-Term Experts (STEs), beneficiary institutions and the EU Delegation. - Supporting the UNDP Project Team on all project implementation phases, particularly on finance, procurement and administration and drafting/editing official reports and deliverables, supporting the expert allocation processes, management of events and visits, undertaking interpretation services, conducting researches and analyses when necessary.

    Sustainable Criminal Justice Solutions (SCJS) is a public sector (non-profit) organisation, based in the UK that delivers international projects on behalf of the Her Majesty's Government (HMG) and the European Union (EU) in order to promote justice and rule of law. Overall objective of the Project is to strengthen the EU and UK borders through increasing standards and capacity of Turkish Forensic Laboratories and law enforcement community on fighting against narcotics trafficking by promotion of the EU and UK practices in the region.     I worked as the Local Liaison Advisor (LLA) for the National Crime Agency (NCA), operating under the British Embassy in Ankara between September 2016 - September 2018.
