Dr. Yibo Xu serves as Asia Pacific Partner at Stefano Boeri Architetti. He is fully in charge of the firm’s overall business, design delivery and market expansion across the entire Asian region. His core expertise lies in Vertical Forest facade consultancy, covering design solutions for new developments, ongoing projects and building retrofits. Beyond professional design services, he also manages the complete one-stop supply chain system, including prefabricated construction, global material procurement, quality supervision, logistics arrangement and on-site technical guidance. Completed Vertical Forests: He led the delivery of Easyhome Huanggang Vertical Forest City Complex in China, a landmark project with five high-rise towers integrated with abundant vegetation. It stands as one of the earliest operational Vertical Forest complexes in Asia, setting a benchmark for vertical green architecture. Vertical Forests Under Construction & Implementation He currently oversees multiple key schemes: Nanjing Jiangbei Vertical Forest, a twin-tower landmark featuring distinctive green facades; Shenzhen Inclusive Innovation Center, also known as “Healing Mountain”, which adopts innovative vertical green design and layered landscape terraces. He is also responsible for the large-scale Liuzhou Forest City, a comprehensive eco-city development advancing steadily in construction and infrastructure works. Vertical Forests in Design & Planning Stage His ongoing portfolio further includes conceptual and master planning projects across Asia, such as Shanghai Vertical Forest Tea Hotel and Bright Food Vertical Forest Farm, which combine green architecture with hospitality and modern agriculture. He also takes charge of Lishui Forest City master plan in China and Lumbini Stupa master plan in Nepal, extending the eco-design philosophy to South Asia.
