As an Undergraduate Engineer in the Construction Interface Management Team; my key responsibilities were the following: -Responsible for maintaining the Concrete Pour Records for pile foundations and other structural elements. Proactively communicated with the Main Contractor and the Senior Engineer (client side) to perform the Hold Point inspection and provide ITP (Inspection and Testing Plan) approvals. Liaised with the Site Engineers to obtain concrete delivery dockets and lab test results; ensured the compliance of design requirements and compiled quality documents. -Responsible for receiving and reviewing the SWMS (Safe Work Method Statement) documents with the Senior Engineer; provided comments and ensured they were properly addressed and updated. Conducted site safety inspections according to the SWMS; initiated safety conversations with the crew members and ensured the safety controls were properly understood and implemented. -Attended the weekly construction meetings; maintained detailed meeting minutes and records. Interfaced with the piling and foundation delivery team; attended site meetings to deal with site technical issues. -Participated in the site assessment meetings to review potential variation scopes and maintained detailed site records of the claimed variations. -Participated in the design review meetings with the Utility and Services Providers; which included the electricity, gas, water and telecommunications asset owners. -Maintained the design review comments register; liaised with the design team and head contractor to ensure they responded accordingly. -Developed and prepared the daily site diary which recorded the site resources and subcontractor.
