General Responsibilities: - Participate in start-up activities such as equipment testing, Chemical Preparation, maintenance and operation procedures in a mining operation industry. These activities are to ensure the pilot plant is operating in a safe condition and meet clients' business objective. - Cooperate with both day and night shift team with proper shift handover to ensure the operation runs continuously. - Display excellent risk analysis when handling hazardous chemicals by following the Australia Standards for Hazardous Substances and Dangerous Goods. - Proper housekeeping is carried out on-site to ensure the work areas are clean and dry. Main responsibilities with Ardea project: - Was stationed in looking after Iron Removal, Pre-reduction and Tailings Neutralisation section of the plant. - Involved with hands-on fixing such as maintenance and resolving any issues arises during the process. - Involved in batch laboratory work, whereby I compare the ORP values between Sodium HydroSulfide (NaSH) prepare onside and a freshly prepared NaSH. Main Responsibilities with Telfer Project: - Involved with filtration using a manual filter press and sample preparation. - Ensured the filter cake produced met the specifications required from clients. - Pulverised solid dried sample and sent it out for assay analysis.
