Strong community and social services professional with a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) focused in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology from UCL.
• Job duties: Assisting with the projects planning and logistics, contract management support, compliance controls, major project documentation (EIA/pre-EIA environmental inputs, technical project documentation), preparation, implementation of environmental monitoring, survey programs, stakeholder engagement activities, related procedures, guidance notes; Supporting the management of contracts for field work, laboratory analysis and reporting; Definition of work scopes and management of contractors in the development or revision of projects that assist permit applications; Reviewing Contractor supplied Environmental related documentation (e.g. Project Design documents, HSE Plans, Waste Management Plans, emission standards setting projects such as MPE/MPD); Assure that environmental surveys, industrial control programmes and procedures are compliant with RoK law and regulations; Promoting safe working practices in company operational and non-operational premises; Supervising and training Contractor staff during groundwater, soil, air emissions, water discharges monitoring and remediation projects; Timely completion of environmental performance, survey reports; Ensuring appropriate levels of documentation quality at all stages; Carrying out pre-work audits of Contractor readiness and audits of laboratories; Participating in Company Environmental audits of assets and facilities; Support in interfacing and conducting negotiations with RoK regulators on environmental matters; Participating in incident investigations with environmental implications; Providing expert advice and engineering support to all operational sites personnel; Conducting outreach activities related to environment in schools and high education centres in the region. • Skills acquired: Communication, decision-making, inter-personal, presentation, leadership and organizational skills. Ability to work in a multicultural, multinational team, with interfaces with multiple stakeholders.
