NUS student, in Chemical Engineering Graduated from Temasek Polytechnic under the Diploma of Chemical Engineering. As I am very interested in the work of a chemist/ lab work, I have taken the Applied Chemistry elective provided by Temasek Polytechnic which allows me to learn more about the process of lab method validation processes that I may apply in the future. Throughout my 3 years of studies in Chemical Engineering, I have acquired multiple lab skills and learned how to operate multiple lab equipment effectively that may be used in my future workplace. Some examples are, Gas chromatography, High-performance liquid chromatography, Titration and the use of the Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy. I feel that my greatest strength is that I can be very adaptive to my surrounding. I am able to very independently complete the tasks given to me. whereas, if I'm placed in the team i will play my part well to ensure that the team can complete the task together on time. If needed i believe that i could also step up to lead the team so that we can complete any tasks handed to us.
