She is committed to leveraging her training to contribute to treatment development and uses her experience in leadership to approach all situations with enthusiasm, effective communication, and a strong collaborative mindset.
Assisted with key wet-lab procedures, including cell culturing, cell seeding, and organ sectioning. Gained hands-on experience with essential laboratory techniques and equipment such as gel electrophoresis and imaging, and supported research involving extracellular vesicle–based delivery systems, contributing to foundational work in translational cancer research.
Serve at NUS Pitstop weekly to support peers coming to de-stress or seek help. Planned and supported with events and activities that promotes wellness and importance of mental health to the student population.
Served as Secretary-Treasurer for Ethelontêr, a social volunteering camp for incoming NUS Year One students that promotes the spirit of volunteerism and encourages bonding among freshmen. Worked closely with Project Directors in overall planning, coordinating across departments, vetting proposals, and assisting in grant applications. Developed strong organisational and communication skills, and gained hands-on experience in project planning and resource management.
Conducted literature research and curate material in the topic of deep tech startups under the guidance of Dr Chen Wenqian professor. Material created to be published as guiding materials for prospective entrepreneurs.
