Experienced Manager in Production, Supply Chain, Six Sigma (Black Belt) and Lean Manufacturing
In charge of the transport & logistics department (around 90 people) -Operations Committee Member and known consignor security manager (OFAC), -Packaging supply planning supervision, -Order management supervision: orders picking and shipping, -Order packing, repacking and preparation activities based on EFFCI GMP standards, -Warehouses and inventory management (inbound, outbound and internal flows).
In charge of the production and logistics activities (100 people, fixed costs of 10 M€/year, SEVESO III) -Acetow GBU -Plant Steering Committee Member, -Production activities (cellulose acetate, anhydride acid and acetic acid recovery), -Logistics activities (RM deliveries, inventories management and FG shipments).
-In charge of the production service of a plant (50 people out of of 110, SEVESO III); technology: polymers, green solvents, mineral (Novecare GBU). -Plant Steering Committee Member, -Participation in EHS results and deployment of safety initiatives (RCMS/SCMS, STOP, Life Saving Rules), -Management of 4 workshop supervisors, 1 lean manufacturing engineer and 1 production assistant, -Yearly CAPEX budget preparation (development & maintenance = 2,1 M€/year) and projects selection, -Optimization of production capacity (OEE & MDC, SMED) and direct production fixed costs, -Variable costs improvement (500 k€ savings in 2014 on raw materials yield increase on a batch process – methanol and steam), -In charge of implementing the Manufacturing Excellence Program (Performance Management, Mindset and Behaviors, Technical System) at plant level (production, logistics, maintenance and lab): performance whiteboard, 5S, problem solving methodologies... -1,6 M€ of savings achieved in 2014 and 1,2 M€ of savings in 2015 (OEE/MDC increase, variable and fixed costs), -Problem solving tools and process implementation at shop floor level (CEDAC - awarded as best European practice for Solvay) -Change management process leader
In charge of the supply chain department of the plant dealing with RM procurement/supply, production planning & scheduling, orders management, transport booking, FG shipments, storage & internal flows and the European Sampling Platform of Novecare Global Business Unit. The whole team is composed of 15 people (with 4 direct subordinates): logistics technicians, logistics foremen, operators.
