Yen-Ting Cho is a London-based artist, designer and curator. Yen-Ting designs his own digital software to create unique and dynamic contemporary patterns for luxury fashion accessories and interiors. Inspired by the natural world, his work blurs the boundaries between art, design and fashion. Cho has a PhD in Innovation Design Engineering (IDE) from the Royal College of Art (RCA), London, and a Master’s degree from the Graduate School of Design (GSD), Harvard University. He was awarded Film Study Center Harvard Fellowships and his animation practice has received awards internationally. He has worked at INVIVIA (Cambridge, MA), and designed interactions for Microsoft Surface, GSD and the Guggenheim Museum, New York. Since 2016, Cho has directed YenTing Cho Studio in London. The Studio also has a design team in Tainan City, Taiwan, where Yen-Ting is Professor of Design at National Cheng Kung University. Commissions and exhibitions include Camden Arts Centre, London; Guggenheim Museum, New York; Manchester Science Festival; V&A Museum, London; and curation of ‘Movement – Pattern – Object’ exhibition for the Taiwan Design Expo 2018.
