Cybersecurity fresh graduate passionate about threat detection, phishing prevention, and security operations. My final year project, PhishShield AI, focused on developing an AI-powered phishing email and URL detection system using machine learning, a Flask backend, and a Chrome extension for real-time protection. I’m actively seeking entry-level opportunities where I can contribute to a security-focused team, apply my technical knowledge, and continue growing my skills in cybersecurity.
During my internship, I supported various cybersecurity initiatives, IT operations, and risk management activities: 1. Assisted in planning and delivering phishing awareness training for employees, including designing simulation tests and analyzing user responses 2. Participated in product evaluation and Proof of Concept (POC) testing for cybersecurity solutions, contributing to vendor selection and adoption decisions 3. Provided IT helpdesk support, including troubleshooting endpoint issues and setting up laptops for new employees 4. Supported audit and risk management tasks, including reviewing compliance requirements and assisting with IT inventory handling This experience allowed me to strengthen my knowledge in cybersecurity operations, user awareness, endpoint support, and compliance, while developing teamwork and communication skills in a corporate environment.
