As EVP & CHRO of DenizBank, I led the human capital agenda for 15,000+ employees and founded Deniz Academy, which became the organization’s leadership, learning, and cultural backbone. Selected Impact Highlights • Led one of the sector’s most complex growth–consolidation cycles (300 → 750 → 550 branches), balancing business growth, cost discipline, and organizational resilience throughout sustained volatility. • Founded Deniz Academy, establishing the bank’s leadership, learning, and culture platform; recognized with multiple national and international awards and positioned as a benchmark corporate university. • Led people, culture, and leadership integration across three international shareholder transitions (Dexia, Sberbank, ENBD), ensuring organizational continuity and trust. • Consistently delivered engagement, internal succession, and retention outcomes above industry benchmarks, including during periods of macroeconomic stress. • Optimized organizational structures and HQ ratios, maintaining cost and FTE levels below sector averages while strengthening execution capability. • Played a leading role in the people and cultural integration of the Citibank Retail Banking acquisition and subsequent ownership changes. • Acted as a trusted strategic partner to the CEO and Board on transformation governance, leadership succession, and long-term organizational resilience.
