RAVEN is the Polish ISTV (In-Space Transportation Vehicle) with planned launch of DEMO-1 Mission in 2029.
The goal of the WB Group Space Technology Center is to achieve Poland's technological sovereignty in the space sector, focusing on observational and communication capabilities.
Played an integral role in the Mission Control Team for the OPS-SAT mission, overseeing the spacecraft's operations and ensuring its well-being. Implemented end-to-end solutions, addressing issues across the technology stack, from onboard mechanisms to ground segment operations, including electronics, firmware, software, telemetry, tracking, and command systems. Implemented an end-to-end experiment dealing with Software Defined Radio data capture and processing.
Coordinated the work of more than 100 students in 5 projects spanning different domains (aerospace, maritime, robotics, business) and disciplines (mechanical, electrical, software), responding to their needs and faciliting recources - money, workshop and tools. Responsible for business development and outreach ensuring financial and meritocratic support for the ongoing projects.
Coordinated technical aspects of the Stardust Project in collaboration with ESA-DLR-SNSA REXUS/BEXUS Programme, ensuring successful execution of the scientific mission. Helped design, build and integrate the scientific payload with focus on electronics and system design.
Designed and integrated electronic circuits controlling stratospheric balloon scientific payload. Developed a wireless protocol based on ESP8266 board, communicating components of the balloon system. Co-organised and executed the balloon mission throughout integration, launch, tracking and recovery of the experiment.
Contributed to the development of Cloud Edge Architecture, utilizing Docker, Ansible, and Linux tools to conduct workload tests in an industrial laboratory setting. Conducted heat profiling of Submer SmartPod mineral oil-cooled server racks, measuring its performance and efficiency.
