• Responsible for setting up and improving the existing warehousing and logistics operations of the Google Venture portfolio company’s new fulfillment center in San Carlos, California • Identified process improvement opportunities to increase the speed of order fulfilment by 72% within 6 weeks • Assisted in capacity planning to handle a 200% increase in demand • Supported in the development and reporting of KPI’s across warehouse operations along with quality management • Created Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to improve speed, quality and efficiency of order fulfilment
• Created Quarterly Demand Forecasts and coordinated priority build plans with contract manufacturers and suppliers. • Maintained high level visualization and summary for current backlog orders. • Collaborated with suppliers to reduce lead time and order quantities balancing supply with demand. • Collaborated with Supply Chain Planners across the organization to reposition excess inventory to locations with supporting demand. • Created accurate, timely updates specific to inventory availability and back order recovery plans. • Owned delivery of Manufacturing schedules that supported end Customer needs. • Assisted in physical inventory counting for inventory reconciliation. • Conducted Lead Time Analysis for critical parts. • Reconciled data glitches using various platforms (Oracle Fusion, Opslink, Arrow reports) to get a better snapshot of supply vs demand. • Collected data (Shipments report, On hand Inventory, lead time, order quantities, etc.) to support Plan for Every Part (PFEP) (~150 part numbers).
