At JSA, I assisted in drafting a writ petition before the Delhi High Court for a mandamus to defreeze a client’s bank account in a cyber fraud matter. I also worked on a Statement of Claims concerning wrongful contract termination. My research involved complex issues under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, such as the enforceability of foreign awards and the necessity of pre-arbitral steps. Additionally, I explored the implementation of RERA across states and conducted comparative legal analysis on liquidated damages and revisional powers under the CrPC.
I contributed to preparing legal opinions and case summaries in contractual disputes. My research focused on the admissibility of CIRP proceedings when a debtor fails to comply with a settlement agreement and interpretation of tax levy rules under the NHAI framework.
I explored the legal and regulatory treatment of share warrants under Indian company law and their use in investment transactions. I also analyzed Corpository reports for compliance and director disclosures. With the Real Estate team, I reviewed various title deeds and lease agreements. My research extended to CDSCO regulations concerning medical devices and related commercial contracts.
I drafted internal compliance policies, including Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policies. I also prepared procedural guides for EGMs and AGMs under the Companies Act, 2013. My research included DPIIT complaint mechanisms and counterfeit goods under trademark law, contributing to a draft enforcement complaint.
