I'm an aspiring engineer with an interest in internal combustion engine cars.
12 month placement Worked in component concept, layout, design, structural analysis, optimization through to drawings and manufacturing. Rotated through Top End and Bottom End teams and collaborated with Performance Design Department.
During my 4 week internship period, I have gained valuable experience and knowledge in the field of manufacturing, learned new skills such as CAM and machining, and had the opportunity to hone my skills as a design and development engineer by taking on projects for various companies.
As the leader of the Engine and Calibration Department, I worked on projects such as the design and manufacturing of an intake manifold and a stainless steel exhaust manifold for a Honda CBR600RR, alongside the said engine’s calibration. I also trained new team members and presented for my team in all 3 stages of the Business event as well as the Cost and Design events.
2021 Formula 1 Rolex Turkish Grand Prix Responsible for all COVID-19 testing and procedures in 15 test booths on-site and managing communications between the FIA, Intercity Istanbul Park and the American Hospital.
