About

I am building a career at the intersection of biopharma commercial strategy and health economics, with a focus on oncology. I hold a Master of Liberal Arts (Finance) from Harvard University and am completing an MBA in Strategic Management at Rice, on a foundation of Biochemistry. The next step is graduate and doctoral studies in Health Economics and Outcomes Research, which will give me technical grounding in HTA methodology, pricing policy, and the reimbursement cascades that commercial decisions in oncology increasingly depend on. Seven years in clinical settings across major hospital systems showed me how often effective therapies fail to reach patients, and how much of that gap is driven by upstream decisions about pricing, access, and reimbursement. I saw surgeries cancelled the morning of the procedure when pre-authorization fell through, port placements delayed while chemotherapy patients waited on coverage, and intraoperative substitutions made when surgeon preference did not align with what the patient's plan would cover. That experience redirected my focus upstream toward the commercial and policy choices that decide which therapies become available, at what price, and in which markets.
