Taking the lead to support and manage/prioritize project enquiries from Japanese Pump Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) regarding seals, sealing auxiliary systems and also aftermarket business (spares seals) by preparing the technical and commercial proposals. Working with Sales Team to provide necessary insight, information and guidance on how to best prepare quotations in order to achieve highest possible hit rate and to ensure professional quotes are submitted on time to customers. EPCs/OEMs: Primary region coverage – Japan/Korea. Secondary region coverage – SEA and India Managing and utilizing company’s Sales Approval Policy to obtain Management’s approval to support Sales team to win the targeted projects. This involves obtaining the product costing and analyzing the required margins for the projects by working with different teams. Reviewing customers’ Terms & Conditions (including special warranty, delivery and payment terms) with reference to company’s standard Terms & Conditions before order placement and negotiating with customers and/or obtaining management’s approval when required. Coordinating and interfacing with Project Sales, Engineering, Operations, and other functional stakeholders within the AP region and/or globally to ensure effective collaboration and clear communication by driving the development of sales strategy early in process as well as better outline the opportunity to capture aftermarket sales and local strategy. Implementing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Program for the Sales Team in Asia Pacific (AP) and being a Super User to support the Sales and Commercial Operations teams in AP. Supporting Sales Team to develop and maintain relationships with customers by providing strong and prompt support. Assisting Sales in monthly booking forecast and booking report by keeping track of project status and awarded orders.
Supporting project enquiries from Pump Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Sales Engineer/Manager regarding seals, sealing systems and spare orders pricing by preparing the technical and commercial proposals. Supporting Sales in the development of effective ‘Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) and Pump Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM)’ sales strategies for capital projects from inception to final negotiations by managing the work of all aspects of Order Acquisition with regards to demand outlook, workload tracking, alliance governance/compliance, proposal generation, order review, and supplier activities including compliance with the latest Customer Service Order Acquisition (CSOA) proposal and order entry procedures. EPCs/OEMs: Primary region coverage – Japan/Korea. Secondary region coverage – SEA and India Coordinating all customer service, sales, engineering and operation support functions for successful order acquisition and fulfillment of original equipment projects. This includes co-ordination with inter-offices globally in AP, EMA and USA. Assisting Sales in monthly booking forecast and booking report by keeping track of project status and awarded orders.
Technical Support Group • Handle projects and provide technical support in terms of quotations (both technical and commercial) to customers (mainly Singapore EPCs and endusers) • Review of project specifications, valve / material selection and actuator sizing • Co-ordination with factories in different countries (US, Europe, China, Japan etc) for both technical support and commercial requirement • Liaise with sub-vendors in Singapore for quotations of actuation control accessories • Involved in Shell Enterprise Frame Agreement (EFA) • Order review and clarifications
Customer Service Order Acquisition Team (Asia Pacific) • Preparing project quotations and providing technical support to customers who are the Pump Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and Engineering Procurement Contractors (EPC) in the Oil & Gas Industry • OEM/EPC locations - Primary region coverage: South East Asia, Japan; Secondary region coverage: Korea and India • Provides backup support for other countries like China and Australia as Singapore is the hub for Asia Pacific (AP) region • Coordinating with inter-offices to handle projects worldwide in terms of both technical and commercial • Involved in project management for various major projects by ExxonMobil and Shell in Singapore in the recent years • Communicating with sub-vendors and engineering contractors on commercial and technical issues • Following up with relevant parties from order processing to product delivery • Participating in monthly sales forecast and booking reports in AP region
