I’m a Head of Product with an engineering background, about 10 years in product management and 5 years in leadership roles. I enjoy working on complex product challenges, long-term strategy, and building strong teams. Right now, I lead TeamCity at JetBrains. Before JetBrains, I worked at Avito — one of the biggest C2C marketplaces in the world (60M MAU). I launched and led the Avito ID unit: 4 cross-functional teams, 45 people, built from scratch, including hiring 7 PMs. There I drove several big strategic initiatives, from scaling existing products to launching zero-to-one. The largest MVP we released beat expectations: 90% adoption, 25M DAU, and 50% GMV coverage. Before Avito, I worked at SmartDec, a startup in Application Security. That’s where I moved from engineering into product. I helped launch a B2B AppSec product that became a top 1 in the CIS market by revenue. I built the team from scratch (35 people) and led the product transformation. Head of Product for TeamCity
Avito (formerly a brand within the OLX Group, owned by Naspers) is the largest C2C e-commerce platform globally (60 million MAU). - Developed the strategy of Avito ID Unit (a part of Trust and Safety department). Formulated the concept for the new products, and justified the investment based on measurable impact on the Company’s key business metrics. - Built a 45-person unit from scratch, including designing teams and hiring 7 product managers. - Launched the MVP for the core product and started the scaling phase (ahead of the traction plan: 90% adoption, 25 mln DAU, 50% GMV). Managed dozens of stakeholders during the development and launch. - Conducted over 100 interviews with product managers. Contributed to the re-design of the product management hiring process, including creating and testing new cases for the interviews. - As a tracker, I led two teams within an internal accelerator program. - I conducted dozens of qualitative (interviews, UX-tests) and quantitative (surveys, analytical research) research studies and A/B tests.
- Led the team responsible for authorization scenarios. SmartDec is a technological startup specializing in Application Security. - Built a B2B Application Security product from scratch, achieving top revenue in the CIS market within four years. - Led the product transformation of the team, which resulted in my promotion to Head of Product and the team's adoption of Product Strategy, Customer Research, Prioritization, Planning, and Agile. This enabled us to successfully execute two pivots. - Created a team of 35 people from scratch. - Co-founded a new branch of the business (blockchain smart contracts security). This branch later evolved into a standalone startup.
Executed over 50 security audit projects. Developed five application security products, one of which was an MVP for a product I later managed as the Head of Product. • Researched and developed binary and source code analysis algorithms using LLVM, Clang, Ida Pro and C++. • Conducted dozens manual audits of source and binary code for assessing its security. • Participated in web development (C#, .NET, Java, JSP, JavaScript).
• Researched and developed graph theory algorithms (graph drawing problems, graph layout theory). Developed the algorithm for the optimal layout of the graph, which represents a data structure. • Researched and developed of computer vision algorithms. Participated in the development of the signature recognition module.
