Recently achieved the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification and gained hands-on experience in cybersecurity during an internship at Telecom Egypt. Passionate about applying engineering fundamentals to real-world problems and eager to pursue opportunities in network security and embedded systems.
During my internship at Telecom Egypt’s Cyber Security Department, I gained hands-on exposure to both offensive and defensive operations within the Security Operations Centre (SOC). I worked with IBM QRadar SIEM to create dashboards, log filters, and automated reports, contributing to incident detection and analysis. I also practiced network scanning and OSINT, explored phishing detection, and analysed malware and steganography techniques in a controlled lab environment. Additionally, I learned about incident response frameworks and ISO/IEC 27001 information security standards, strengthening my understanding of how large organisations protect and monitor critical infrastructure.
