AWS Lambda is a serverless compute service that lets you run code without provisioning or managing servers, creating workload-aware cluster scaling logic, maintaining event integrations, or managing runtimes. With Lambda, you can run code for virtually any type of application or backend service - all with zero administration. Just upload your code as a ZIP file or container image, and Lambda automatically and precisely allocates compute execution power and runs your code based on the incoming request or event, for any scale of traffic. You can set up your code to automatically trigger from over 200 AWS services and SaaS applications or call it directly from any web or mobile app. I am currently managing the Lambda Async team responsible for building and maintaining the services supporting Lambda asynchronous invocations which enable customers to build fault tolerant, distributed, low latency event driven applications.
Worked on Amazon Music web service (RESTful) APIs to support new Amazon Music client apps on a diverse range of new devices. Designed and developed search and ratings APIs and integrated with one of the clients.
* Designed and developed Java based microservices with Oracle Db for user access management and payment reconciliation required for integrating bank's payment systems with SEPA (single euro payments area) initiative. * Analyzed requirements for some of the core components of services required for SEPA and designed solutions for them by creating logical data models, XSDs and design flows. * Built a dev team onsite composed of Java developers and Oracle DBAs and successfully delivered services and projects required for SEPA initiative.
