Supporting an interdisciplinary behavioural economics and psychology project examining optimal charity board composition. Responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, analysing trustee motivation and governance data, and assisting in the design of behavioural experiments on board diversity, decision-making, and groupthink.
- Interned during the peak season for year-end tax finalization, assisting with Corporate Income Tax (CIT) and Value-Added Tax (VAT) compliance procedures for more than 6 domestic and international clients. - Prepared and reviewed CIT and VAT returns in compliance with Vietnamese tax regulations, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. - Performed ledger and invoice reconciliations for clients in the banking, technology, and industrial infrastructure sectors. - Drafted internal working papers and 8 Tax Retainer (advisory) memos under the guidance of seniors and managers.
Being chosen as one of the five partnerships for the Vietnam Youth’s Policy Initiative (VYPI) 2023 makes me very happy. I want to thank the US Embassy for funding VYPI 2023 and the Institute for Policy Studies and Media Development (IPS) for giving me the opportunity to manage the Finance of the program. - Preparing 12 advance requests, payment requests for each workshop, and 2 project reports. - Successfully organized 6 training sessions and 2 ceremonies. - Enhanced communication and negotiation skills while working with speakers. - Served as a secretary for the final conference session.
I am the leader of the Education Department at the Trong Veo Bookcase project. This is a project belonging to the International NGO Volunteer for Education (V.E.O) in Vietnam. It was established in 2016 with the mission of helping and improving education in difficult localities in the northern mountainous provinces. Not just for highland kids, Trong Veo Bookcase hopes that by holding weekend reading events at hospitals, they may increase the kids' inspiration, hope, and faith, giving them a greater fighting spirit against disease. - Led a 12-member team to organize 10 hospital-based reading events. - Raised VND 10 million, 250 books, and supplies for a disadvantaged school. - Coordinated holiday programs and submitted post-event reports.
