GrabFood and GrabMart consumer experiences
Overseeing GrabFood and GrabMart consumer funnel, including discovery, ordering, checkout, in transit, and post checkout experiences.
Experimented in the Group Buy space, expanding into tier 2 cities for groceries deliveries. Owned the consumer conversion funnel for GrabMart, leading key changes to make the consumer experience more intuitive for mart shopping.
Product managed the largest shift towards consolidating all payments processing through a central layer so that SP and all its subsidiaries could channel transactions through a single pass through layer before interacting with the gateway. This reduced multiple points of integration and complexity for the entire company and centralized control and auditability.
• Product Manager for the Payments and Logistics portfolio • In charge of the entire front end stack for the payments flow as well as product shipping. • On top of that, also in charge of risk and fraud features to ensure trust and safety on the Shopee platform, and to prevent fraudulent transactions and abusive behavior. • Also assigned overall front end program management and release deployment manager duties with monthly release cycles for the entire app release. • Key coordinator with various business and engineering stakeholders both regionally as well as within the 7 surrounding countries where Shopee operates.
• Team lead of the Product Development Unit, in charge of requirements gathering, technical specifications, UI and UX designs and user outreach. • Product focus on ‘Tinké’ and ‘Being’, a range of fitness and wellness monitoring devices. Involved in the entire product life cycle, from conceptualization to product launch. • Awards won by ‘Tinké’: 2014 CES Innovation Awards Honoree, 2015 Edison Awards Gold, and 2014 Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Award. • Program managed a team of inhouse and external software engineers to develop both the iOS and Android apps for Tinké (available on app store), and also product managed the development of Zensorium’s website (Zensorium.com). • Co-holder of the patent “Method and apparatus for deriving a health index for determining cardiovascular health”. • Also acted as primary market research analyst, in charge of requirements gathering for B2C and B2B projects. • Lead clinical trials design and execution for various R&D phase projects.
