Growing up, I read every single science fiction book I could check out of the library, which was a stack about half as tall every few weeks. It convinced me that the most exciting thing I could possibly do in life was be on the cutting edge of research and technology, and as a nature lover I decided to pick biology. It turns out cutting edge biological research either involves a lot of dead animals or a lot of computational models, and it turned out I like the "computer" part of them a lot more than the dead animals. Now I'm looking for roles that help develop the tech I dreamed about. I'm a mission driven software engineer looking to make impact on pushing forward technology.
