In my capacity as a Board Member of ISP Chemicals South Africa, I have been entrusted to counsel on key aspects of the company’s operations, including business strategy, brand development, and financial performance. Additionally, I have undertaken to streamline financial and managerial accounting, providing strategic insights into operational efficiency and guiding informed decision-making processes. With the help of my colleagues, a company rebrand is nearing completion. A key area of our focus has been the implementation of innovative technologies, aimed at improving operational efficiencies and ensuring the organisation’s continued competitiveness in its sector. Thanks to these efforts, our production capacity has seen an increase of 60% for an unchanged staff compliment. Consolidating the continued and sophisticated efforts of the ISP Chemicals production team at an institutional level has been an area of focus for the Board through the implementation of systematic processes in quality control and factory safety. Since my appointment to the board of ISP Chemicals, annual growth rates have outperformed average growth in the manufacturing sector over the same period by a factor of 10.
